“I AM WITH YOU!” When was the last time you took a good selfie-photo or a nice picture all by yourself? Well, personally I like taking snapshots once in a while partly because of memory keeping. However, I generally pose for snaps for one main reason; Whenever I look at myself on the mirror or on my picture image, I see what gives me hope in life! I see God’s image in me! To be honest there are some pictures I have taken while I was going through some sickness, yet whenever I look at those pictures, I don’t see a sickly Christine or dying sister, I see God’s image in me! There are pictures I took one Sunday morning where the previous night I was robbed of everything in my house at knife point!. The robbers tried to strangle me to but didn’t succeed and out of confusion they hurriedly left but having stolen many things. I wasn’t harmed but the only thing they left me were the pajamas I was wearing. The following morning, on borrowed clothes, I ministered at children’s church, participated in some photo event and luckily nobody noticed the clothes! There’s a picture I took at a time when I was counting my losses after my grocery store was burnt by goons during a political rally. My eyes were swollen from crying, yet whenever I look at that picture,I see God’s loving image in me! There’s a particular picture I took when I was stressing in deep financial mess with a certain Shylocks Organization for almost three months. My investment &most assets were to be auctioned because the loan interest had accumulated rapidly to a some unimaginable 5 figure amount which resulted into a court case. Yet whenever I look at that picture, I don’t see a stressed up sister, but God’s image Should I go on? I have been betrayed by some very close friends of mine, yet whenever I look at the pictures that I took during that season, I never see a betrayed sister on those particular pictures. DESPITE OF ALL MESS, GOD SEES ME AS HIS OWN! AS HIS IMAGE! See, if God sees me as His master piece, who am I to see flaws in God’s own finished work at the cross of Jesus Christ! If God Is the Potter, then I am the clay. If God Is the Author and Finisher of my Faith, then I am redeemed as He says. I am healed and living in divine health as His word says. I am forgiven in accordance with His word. I am of a royal priesthood in accordance with His word. I am saved according to God’s word. I am not afraid, I have not been given a spirit of fear, but a Spirit of power, love and a sound mind. I am not alone, God’s #Enduring #Presence always abides in my life. He says HE IS WITH ME! I am not forsaken, He says He will never leave me nor forsake me. God says He will be with me. When I look at my pictures, I simply REMIND myself IF GOD SAW ME THROUGH THAT PARTICULAR SITUATION, IF HE HEALED ME FROM THAT SICKNESS, IF HE VINDICATED MY CASE AND SHAMED MY ACCUSERS, then He will surely do more! Nothing is impossible with This God. I choose to #believe in #HOW God #sees me and what His word says about me rather than what my past carries trying to remind me of the bad I have been through coz God says,” I have loved you with an #Everlasting love.” The other day I was surprised to learn of a certain well known Televangelist who testified on Television that before he was called into ministry, he used to be a drunkard ,often sleeping in the gutter to be picked up the following dawn, and that he used to be an addicted smoker! All Glory to Jesus Christ Who came to seek and save the lost! Anyone who doesn’t know this humble servant of the Living God from his past like me will somehow have hard time believing in that testimony. But if you know the kind of God whom you serve then you’ll believe that nothing is impossible with God. God never looks at the outward appearance, God looks at the heart. God never saw him as a drunkard He saw a vessel that would bring Him glory. So go ahead, TAKE SELFIE-PHOTOS knowing YOU ARE GOD’S IMAGE & HIS PRESENCE IS WITH YOU! Do Believe it!
