Great good morning Believers Family!

2SAMUEL24:verses 1-2 , 10
Again the anger of The LORD was aroused against Israel, and He moved David against them to say , “Go, number Israel and Judah.”
..
And David’s heart condemned him after he had numbered the people. So David said to The LORD, “I have sinned greatly in what I have done; but now I pray O LORD, take away the iniquity of Your servant, for I have done foolishly.”

Study notes:
By this time we see David has grown old and his strength is “faint” (refer to 2Samuel 21:15)
Yet somehow David together with his men managed to kill the remaining giants of Philistine. This guaranteed victory made the people of Israel to start believing it was there strength that was giving them victory forgetting God was with them all along to honor His covenant(refer to 2Samuel 21:17)
This aroused God’s Anger against Israel and as seen in 2Samuel 24:1..

LESSON LEARNED:

-Never allow pride at any moment in your lifetime to take residence of your heart..”GOD RESISTS THE PRIDE BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE”
-CONFESSION BRINGS REDEMPTION

PRAYER:
“For who is God except The LORD?
And who is a rock except our God?
God Is my strength and my power, and He makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of deer, and sets me on my high places. He teaches my hands to make war so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze..
