SICKNESS IS NOT SOMETHING YOU JUST WANT TO GO WISHING ON OTHERS ANYHOW AND ANYWHERE MUCH MORE YOU JUST DON’T WANNA BE SITTING AROUND PRAYING THAT YOUR ENEMY FALLS DEAD OR SICK! (That’s called ridiculous mediocre praying!)

Have you ever wondered why Elijah was not initially hesitant to lie to Ben-Hadad king of Syria? Sickness is not a sweet thing!
In 2 Kings of 8:7-10..
“.. Elisha went to Damascus, and Ben-Hadad king of Syria was sick; and it was told him, saying, “The man of God has come here.”
And the king said to Hazael, “Take a present in your hand, and go to meet the man of God, and inquire of the LORD by him, saying, ‘Shall I recover from this disease?’ ”
So Hazael went to meet him and took a present with him, of every good thing of Damascus, forty camel-loads; and he came and stood before him, and said, “Your son Ben-Hadad king of Syria has sent me to you, saying, ‘Shall I recover from this disease?’ ”
And Elisha said to him, “Go, say to him, ‘You shall certainly recover.’ However the LORD has shown me that he will really die.””

Sickness brings lose, sorrow, death, curse, and sickness denys and hides the truth of The Word of God!
The best and only true thing one can do to help the one who is sick is pray for them and pray with them.
” Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.
And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”

Another scenario is in 1 Kings 14:1-
” At that time Abijah the son of Jeroboam became sick.
And Jeroboam said to his wife, “Please arise, and disguise yourself, that they may not recognize you as the wife of Jeroboam, and go to Shiloh. Indeed, Ahijah the prophet is there, who told me that I would be king over this people.
Also take with you ten loaves, some cakes, and a jar of honey, and go to him; he will tell you what will become of the child.”
And Jeroboam’s wife did so; she arose and went to Shiloh, and came to the house of Ahijah. But Ahijah could not see, for his eyes were glazed by reason of his age.
Now the LORD had said to Ahijah, “Here is the wife of Jeroboam, coming to ask you something about her son, for he is sick. Thus and thus you shall say to her; for it will be, when she comes in, that she will pretend to be another woman.” And so it was, when Ahijah heard the sound of her footsteps as she came through the door, he said, “Come in, wife of Jeroboam. Why do you pretend to be another person? For I have been sent to you with bad news.
Go, tell Jeroboam, ‘Thus says the LORD God of Israel: “Because I exalted you from among the people, and made you ruler over My people Israel, and tore the kingdom away from the house of David, and gave it to you; and yet you have not been as My servant David, who kept My commandments and who followed Me with all his heart, to do only what was right in My eyes;
but you have done more evil than all who were before you, for you have gone and made for yourself other gods and molded images to provoke Me to anger, and have cast Me behind your back—therefore behold! I will bring disaster on the house of Jeroboam, and will cut off from Jeroboam every male in Israel, bond and free; I will take away the remnant of the house of Jeroboam, as one takes away refuse until it is all gone.
The dogs shall eat whoever belongs to Jeroboam and dies in the city, and the birds of the air shall eat whoever dies in the field; for the LORD has spoken!” ’
Arise therefore, go to your own house. When your feet enter the city, the child shall die.
And all Israel shall mourn for him and bury him, for he is the only one of Jeroboam who shall come to the grave, because in him there is found something good toward the LORD God of Israel in the house of Jeroboam.. “
Sickness is not something you can wish for someone not even to your own enemy!

Believe and speak the Word of God today and Be encouraged!

Last Friday I was booked for a medical checkup by our company’s nurse. This being one of our company’s regulatory compliance,
I decided to go a bit early in time to get free breakfast at hospital canteen!
Luck seemed to have wicked my way that morning!
I made it in time for the much anticipated deliciousness.
By God’s mercies that day’s breakfast included amazing #saffron #pancakes!
You bet I had an unforgettable blast from them!
The pancake were sweet and the honey syrupy coating was just finger licking all the time!
After what seemed like unending sweetness, by God’s grace I managed to have my fill and I gently gathered myself to the waiting section.
My turn to see the doctor was not due so again by the mercies of God, while staring at the ceiling then watching people walking to and fro, I managed to rest my body for good while.
Finally it was my turn to go to the physician’s office and I was politely signaled by one nurse to proceed to Room U.
Room U was a few steps from where I was. All the while I thought I was to be sent maybe upstairs or downstairs but when I inquired from the nurse if that was the correct room, she explained I was only booked for examination.
I left it at that and entered Room U without further queries. Then the door automatically closed from behind me. “Hello?”
How was I to feel comfortable in a 6 by 6 cube room all by myself?
It was becoming scary. A bit panicky, I started knocking on the walls trying to see whether there was another imaginary door!
You see, with all the innovation evolving everyday, never rule out anything too early!
I’m not sure which knock triggered it but, few seconds later, the cube was filled with some smoke! I couldn’t easily tell where it was coming from but funny enough I noticed the smoke was both odorless and harmless. I wasn’t coughing!
This went for a minute then the cube was back to normal.

I checked myself to see if something had happened to my body during the ordeal and honestly I was relieved to notice I was unharmed.
I was still disturbed though with all this and my patience was literally decreasing.
That’s when I realized I was being watched by some hidden camera because there was a small neon sign that was lit at one corner of the cube. The sign simply read, ” PLEASE DO NOT DISTURB.”
I knew I had to stay collected, obey what I was told no matter what. I managed to stay still for the remaining part of that session and later the same door opened up and the same nurse kindly beckoned me to come out for my results.
She again explained that the doctor was through with examining my body and the diagnosis was ready. I was asked whether I was ready to receive my results and I immediately asked her to interpret the results.
Apparently, the smoke was meant for my full body sanitation and she further explained that while I was in Room U, the doctor could see and examine me from next room, hence the neon sign!
I was diagnosed with a “near-serious” tooth infection but God’s grace brought my healing after a month of medication and following the doctor’s advice.

Beloved, What if Jesus Christ Is saying to you today, ” PLEASE DO NOT DISTURB”
1. What if Jesus Is expecting you to fully trust Him about your business? “DO NOT DISTURB, I got this child. Stop talking about your business losses to witchdoctors and charm liars.”
2. What if Jesus Is saying, ” DO NOT DISTURB. My child, I know you have cried to Me in Prayers about your sickness and financial crisis! I AM ABLE”
3. What if Jesus Is expecting you “NOT TO DISTURB” and Fully trust Him about your challenge.
JESUS IS THE “PROFESSIONAL”
 If you are constantly worrying whether God can heal you, just remember, DO NOT DISTURB! HE’S THE GREAT PHYSICIAN.
 If you are constantly worrying whether God can provide for your finances today, just remember DO NOT DISTURB! GOD IS OUR PRESENT HELP IN TIME OF NEED. HIS NAME IS JEHOVAH JIRE!
If you’re losing hope remember
DO NOT Disturb what God is about to do in your life today by losing hope. Have faith in God. Have good faith in the Word of God.

REFUSE TO BE AN ENEMY OF GOD AND REFUSE TO BE ENEMIES WITH GOD!!!
“Let God arise, Let His enemies be scattered; (as long as ‘they’ choose to maintain their status quo of being enemies of God,  let them be scattered in Jesus Name because it is too expensive to want to remain in the Holy Presence of God while as the same time declaring oneself an adamant enemy of God.)

Let those also who hate Him flee before Him…(As long as they choose to maintain their status quo of hating You, let them flee before You because it is too dangerous to draw near to God while one is harboring hatred towards God!)

But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words. “Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.

(The chastisement for our peace was upon Him.. )
I was busy enjoying my peaceful moment while playing my favorite king solitaire when the inevitable happened! My boss walked in without knocking and came straight to my desk. He leaned towards me and I immediately knew my fortieth day had arrived. Time wasting is never my thing really but this particular day I told myself let me just play a very tiny solitaire game then I’d completely stop with time wasting habits!
Little did I know that honey is sweet and that’s why it’s never enough to taste it just with one lick! My boss leaned over and I swung my chair to face him just in time for him to summon me to sit down and that he had something to show me!
Not again! I could hear my brain scream at me! “You mean your boss is that idle?”
I don’t know why my boss is not like other CE Officers that I read about everywhere. When I’m expecting my boss to always have this demarcation line between him and his employees, mine is different. He invites his employees for lunch at his villa every weekend and as if this is not enough, he allows us to borrow his personal things including cash and vice versa! My boss borrows from me cash then pays back triple the amount! He’s so different in a positive way rather.
So, this particular day though I knew I was breaking company’s rules, I was some calm with his coming!
He leaned over then pulled out his iPhone and showed me some pictures. I was still trying to get what the pictures were about when he quickly gave me a disturbing statement that slightly sounded offensive.
“See, I told you. The virus is still killing people especially from your country!” I was like, “what? What has that to do with me? You should know better sir, that’s the last thing I need to hear especially you sir. My faith was being tasted and my “every nerve” was equally being weighed here! I could hear my blood running through my vein at a sprint speed, totally different from the usual speed! But save for The Holy Spirit Who reminded me the power of wisdom, I gathered courage and decided to approach it in wiser way!
I was still pretending to be looking at the pictures not hearing what he was telling me when he repeated himself, “this virus is mean, see it’s killing your countrymen!”
Alright, I smiled at his beautiful iPhone one more time, looked at the pictures then with some mysterious let’s-do-this courage I faced him. “I see, but sir I am aware that all this is because of too much Television and too much online! I also have the same problem sir. I am sometimes carried away with too much watching of news and there’s always fake news being aired somewhere sir. This is one of the many fabricated lies you can find online about some place!” I kept his iPhone on the desk then faced him and with one look at his face, I realized there’s still room for more.
“Have you ever been to my country sir? I mean, have you ever travelled outside of your continent? It’s the same with me, I always see videos ads of how explosions are taking place in your own country and yet I’ve lived and worked here as a foreigner for a decade and I have never witnessed a single explosion sir!” I went on. By this time I couldn’t help but notice that his smile length was reducing and I knew it’s about time!
So I quickly picked up his iPhone looking for an escape then with a less friendly tone, he asked me why I was touching his iPhone! The atmosphere had changed but I knew The Holy Spirit was in the office and gathered more confidence and as I was handing him his iPhone, I mentioned to him that I was checking the iPhone because I thought I saw something like his wife’s miss call!
I must say I thank GOD our boss because our relationship with the boss is always healthy and secure because not many employers are comfortable around their own employees.
THE CHASTISEMENT FOR OUR PEACE WAS UPON HIM.. our peace with God The Father depends upon Jesus.

True Story!!
“There was this day I had the privilege of talking with a friend of mine who happens to be a member of this team! For a long time I was concerned about his inactive participation in the group until I decided to confront him about it. The answer he gave me made me realize that “God is Faithful” and He (God) Is not compelled to be faithful by any circumstance or failure of it.
It’s in the divine nature of God for Him to be faithful.
When I asked that friend of mine why he was not so actively participating in this group, I mean I even suggested that he could start by “randomly” replying an ‘amen’ to posts that blessed him.
His reply to my observation was what gave me some enlightened moment, not that I take every answering back lightly though!
This brother actually told me that just by him being a ‘listening member’ of this group already, he somehow receives strength to go that extra mile he needs to go and he further went on that whenever he’s reading any encouraging post made by others here in this group, he reminds himself that ‘he’s not doing all these long challenges of life alone!
God Is faithful. We can do all things through Christ Who gives us strength!

Yes we can! Yes, Yes you can!

Everyone has had a dream at some point in their life while they were sleeping.
The dream may have been about a good thing about to happen in their watch or a bad dream sending out a warning for some kind of preparation.
In essence everyone dreams and we all receive our dreams on our own individual level.
Every human receives their dreams personally. That is to say we get our dreams at the individual level, whether the particular dream carries a cooperate assignment or an individual agenda . And this is why when one person is having nightmares somewhere down there, another one is receiving great visions over here!

It’s true, Some Dreams Are outwardly strange yet they all fall in one category release called Dream!!..

How about “we add” some good wings to that Dream? How about “we add” some positive words to that weird dream? When you add goodness to any “bad dream”, the moment you wake up in its own morning, you soon come to discover that you have actually drafted some good vibes out of that bad dream!
You will find yourself singing to your own new song, “🎤 IF I CAN DREAM THEN I CAN FLY…🎧.” Now, that’s not a bad thing at all!

Never be afraid when your family doesn’t believe in your dream!
Don’t pay attention to people who keep laughing at your dream!
And when friends abandon you because of your dream, take a good sigh of relief!

Understand that there are some dreams which are much bigger than the crowd!

Understand that there are some dreams that require you to stand out from the crowd!
Understand that every dream is received from “inside.”

My Personal Testimony Not So Long Ago!! (be encouraged.)

ASK GOD FOR HIS POWER AND YOU WILL BE AMAZED!
Do you know that The Holy Spirit understands your pain?

A few days ago I accidentally injured myself at my home-based gym! I have had several minor accidents before while exercising and they have never been of major concern because the pain would never last more than intended. However the previous injury I had was becoming a bit chronic and I was becoming uncomfortable even when I was doing minor chores. I gave it few first aid services here and there and the pain was not getting any better.
I must say the thought of visiting a local pharmacy kept crossing my mind. My spirit wouldn’t let me! This question kept running on my mind over and over again. “How many tablets would I have taken by the end of the year just to get rid of every single injury I incurred while exercising?”
Besides, I reminded myself that my body is (and still is) the temple of the Holy Spirit, not a damping site for every medicine and every tablet that I could ever lay my hands on.

I found courage within myself and decided to pray that the pain would go away.
I remember reminding the Holy Spirit that my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and I asked Him to take all pain away while I was refusing any ignorance that was hindering my mind from understanding the cause.
As we speak, not only did The Lord gradually take that pain away, I received the understanding of how to avoid similar discomfort in the future. Praise The Lord.

Teach your spirit to learn to surrender to The Holy Spirit.
I have taught my spirit to always counteract every attempt of the enemy in the spiritual world before facing it in the physical. Trust me most of the battles we encounter are best won in the spirit first.

Never ignore the crucial principle and amazing power of prayer!
Destroy your pain first through prayer!
Destroy all evil works of Satan against your life first through prayer!
Destroy all demonic altars in your family first through prayer!
Destroy all ignorance that hinders your mind from discovering the grace of God made available for you in abundance first through prayer!

I mean, are you aware that The Holy Spirit knows your need and your pain and that He alone can help you in that weakness?
Do you believe that The Holy Spirit of God hears your pain?
Do you know that The Holy Spirit intercedes on behalf of your need?

..The Holy Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but The Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
I tell you the truth, trust God’s Power to handle your pain and you’ll be Amazed at how it will work out for your good!
We know that all things work together for good to those who love God to those who are called according to His Purpose.

See, when you love someone, you trust them. You trust them enough with your
1. Time
2. Strength
3. Mind.. and so on.
The amazing thing is that God Is not just someone!
He Is our Father. He’s Our everlasting Father and by His Infinite Divine and Sovereign Powerful Nature, He not only created us, but made us into His Likeness and His Image.

We are born into this  world with a nature falling short of God’s glory, yet God has given us the ability and opportunity to partake of His divine Nature and become His children.
By believing and receiving God’s ONLY begotten Son Jesus Christ, we are given the power to become children of God.

This very much Power is in you!
Power that brings Healing triumphing  over your pain!
Power that brings Hope for you to refuse that pain!
Power that gives you Peace.
Power that nullifies your painful need!

God Is Great and Powerful enough to handle and dismantle your pain!
His Spirit enables us to cry “Abba Father” and Guess what?

When you cry out To The Father Who indeed Is Our Good Father, He won’t turn away but instead He attends to your cry!
Isn’t this Amazing !
How do we know God hears our cry?..
If we pray according to His WILL, we know that He hears us. And if He hears us then we have the petition that we ask of Him.

You and I have been given this great and amazing Potential and opportunity to pray to God concerning anything and concerning everything!
Let’s ask God for His amazing and healing power today and He will provide it for us!

TRUE STORY OF A MAN WHO WAS PHYSICALLY UNTAMED YET SPIRITUALLY BOUND.

“Then they came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the Gadarenes.
And when He had come out of the boat, immediately there met Him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no one could bind him, not even with chains, because he had often been bound with shackles and chains. And the chains had been pulled apart by him, and the shackles broken in pieces; neither could anyone tame him…”

Lesson :DON’T TAKE THINGS FOR GRANTED!!!
Don’t fall for any deceitful thought that makes you take things for granted or start embracing any ideas that want you to be living life so callously.
Everything including your own life and the set time of life is bound to change and even subject to change!
(This however doesn’t necessarily mean you take every *little* thing seriously though!)

(THE REVELATION OF THE UNTAMED YET DEMONICALLY -POSSESSED MAN.)

As much as this Gadarenean man who used to live at the tombs site was spiritually bound by an unclean spirit, notice how.. ~no one could bind him, not even with chains, because he had often been bound with shackles and chains. And the chains had been pulled apart by him, and the shackles broken in pieces; neither could anyone tame him!~
*No one could physically bind him despite the fact that he was spiritually bound by an unclean spirit.*

Here’s the grace to encourage!

Despite the fact that everything is subject and bound to change, spiritual bondage is subject and bound to change only if it’s handled correctly, this means spiritual battles should be handled spiritually.

\\ And This Is Where The Power In The Spoken Word Of God Comes In. //

“When he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and worshiped Him. And he cried out with a loud voice and said, “What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore You by God that You do not torment me.”
For He said to him, “Come out of the man, unclean spirit!” “

*The spiritual change needed by all who are spiritually bound is brought by and only found by the Spoken Word of God, Who is Jesus Christ the Living Son of God.

*Jesus the Living Word of God speaks into every spiritual bondage that seems permanent in the physical eye and the truth remains the same, every life bondage bows to change.

*The obvious reason as to why the local people of this country of Gadarenes embraced the idea of binding the mad man who lived in the tombs site with shackles and chains was not that they expected the chain-binding activity to heal their fellow country man, rather they had conceived the lie that the spiritual condition of the mad man was not subject to change and his madness was not bound to change either!*
These people made one life mistake which most people nowadays tend to take for granted!

-The Gadareneans had reached a point where they took the mad man for granted.
-The Gadareneans had assumed that his madness was not subject to change and this was taken for granted.
-The Gadareneans had taken the life of their fellow country man for granted.
-The Gadareneans had considered the mad man to dying to the point of sending him to live with the dead in the tombs thus taking his life for granted.
– The Gadareneans had condemned their fellow country man so negatively such that he deserved to be living among the dead thus taking the life of one of their own for granted.

LIFE APPLICATIONS:

1. Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also!
The very car that you always pack in your garage and trust it to safely and timely move you from home to your work place and back is always subject to change!
Don’t allow it to dictate when you are supposed to be rejoicing in Lord especially when your car decides to break down the very day when you’re least expecting! Joy is priceless and so is the peace of God which surpasses all human understanding.

2. And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.!
Don’t allow your wealth or the lack of it to dictate when you are supposed to be rejoicing in Lord especially when your wealth decides to increase up or decrease down the very day when you’re least expecting!

3. Don’t look for the living among the dead!
“Why do you seek the (power of the) living (God) among the dead (works of human flesh) ?

Notice….. “And when He had come out of the boat, immediately there met Him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,..”
-The man who had the unclean spirit came forth to meet Jesus.
– Jesus Christ Who is The Word of God is always readily available to deliver anyone who is willing from any and every bondage.

He asked them, “How many loaves do you have?” And they said, “Seven.”

So He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground. And He took the seven loaves and gave thanks, broke them and gave them to His disciples to set before them; and they set them before the multitude.
They also had a few small fish; and having blessed them, He said to set them also before them.
So they ate and were filled, and they took up seven large baskets of leftover fragments.
Now those who had eaten were about four thousand. And He sent them away, immediately got into the boat with His disciples, and came to the region of Dalmanutha.

Then the Pharisees came out and began to dispute with Him, seeking from Him a sign from heaven, testing Him. But He sighed deeply in His spirit, and said, “Why does this generation seek a sign? Assuredly, I say to you, no sign shall be given to this generation.”
Beware of the Leaven of the Pharisees and Herod.

And He left them, and getting into the boat again, departed to the other side.
Now the disciples had forgotten to take bread, and they did not have more than one loaf with them in the boat.
Then He charged them, saying, “Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod.”
And they reasoned among themselves, saying, “It is because we have no bread.”
But Jesus, being aware of it, said to them, “Why do you reason because you have no bread? Do you not yet perceive nor understand Is your heart still hardened?
Having eyes, do you not see? And having ears, do you not hear? And do you not remember?
When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments did you take up?” They said to Him, “Twelve.”
“Also, when I broke the seven for the four thousand, how many large baskets full of fragments did you take up?” And they said, “Seven.”
So He said to them, “How is it you do not understand?”
