BEAUTIFUL QUESTION
🌺There are many godly “powers” or spiritual rewards, or spiritual gifts” that every true believer of Christ receives from God after becoming a child of God.
✅We’ve been given power to trample on snakes and scorpion,
✅We’ve been given power over all the power of the enemy and equally
✅God gives us power to acquire “wealth.”

🌺Money by itself is not a spirit but it has a spirit known as called mammon.

🌺When you begin to understand spiritual foundations and the concept that spirits can not exist in their own, you will appreciate this truth which Jesus said, “..You cannot serve God and mammon” because GOD ISN’T COMPETING FOR WORSHIP WITH ANYONE!

🌺There’s need to understand that it’s not whether money is good or bad, but rather why God gives “POWER” or “MONEY” in the first place!

🌺Money has power and it has a spirit, but the spirit behind money is not in competition with God because God Is not at ANY competition with anyone!

Concerning doctrine of error, Timothy advises .. teach no other doctrine, nor give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which cause disputes rather than godly edification which is in faith..God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever.

The love of money is the root of all evil, Meaning that the love of the spirit behind money is the root of all evil.

🌺The term “LOVE OF MONEY” used in this verse implies “WORSHIP.”

Timothy teaches that “The WORSHIP OF MONEY is the root of all evil.

WORSHIPPING {MAMMON} THE SPIRIT BEHIND MONEY IN IT’S ENTIRETY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL.

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Without prioritizing it over God, yes, love money! God Is pleased with the prosperity of His servant.
HATRED FOR MONEY OR LACK OF MONEY can lead to ungodly living.
It is said “you cannot have what you hate!”

On average truth, God expects us to worship Him with money and in giving.

SO THE QUESTION:

(WHEN DOES MONEY BECOME EVIL?)

ANSWER:
(MONEY BECOMES EVIL IN THE SPIRIT FORM)

The Pharisees were lovers of money. They worshipped money as a spirit or as their god and Jesus perceived their hearts and rebuked them.. “For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God”

✔Characteristics of “people” who worship money as a spirit itself!

1. They are proud
2. These people are always knowing nothing(meaning are not ready to learn or they are not easily teachable)
3. They are obsessed with disputes
4. They are obsessed with arguments over words
5. They are obsessed with envy
6. They are obsessed with strife
7. They are obsessed with reviling
8. They are obsessed with evil suspicions
9. They have useless wranglings of men
10. They have corrupt minds
11. They are destitute of the truth
12. They are people who suppose that godliness is a means of gain.

✔ About the above mentioned characteristics, 1Timothy. 1:5 advices….
*From such withdraw yourself!~

🌺 CONCLUSION.
Money is good!

🌺All money currencies used around the world are simply “a mode of payment” by which one is able to access either service or goods that they are in need of.”

🌺Use this power behind money to worship God and AT THE SAME TIME fully understanding that God Is never desperate!

🌺Use this power behind money to serve God even with your substance, fully understanding that it is God Who gives us POWER to acquire wealth, in order to receive “true riches!”

🌺 The BEAUTY of it all is that JESUS wants us to focus EVEN beyond money so as to be given the “true riches” in Him which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence.
In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the will of God.

There’s a good reason as to why when God plucked you from sin into the grace of salvation that He left you still living in this physical world! There’s a good great reason for that! Jesus answered..”These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

God Is fully aware that in the world there’s is tribulation yet HE chooses to leave us in the world little longer. God Is not author of confusion. There’s a good reason as to why we are still on earth, and that reason is called PURPOSE!
God expects us to grow in every aspect of our lives for the glory of His name.

Truth remains that serving on the altar will never qualify nor guarantee that one will not perish but have eternal life!
God has called us to live godly lives both because worship is a lifestyle and Who we worship differentiates true worship of God from false worship.
When true altar of God is raised in a believer’s life, false altars are weakened eventually!

REFLECTION:

The reason that prompts you to wake up every morning to better your life is a reason good enough for you to serve God!

When Jesus was preaching to Zacchaeus the tax collector, He answered him and said, ..”for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”
In other words Jesus came to serve God here on earth!

Serving God Is not in vain.
True service that is offered unto God should better every aspect of your life.

Else why would He promise to bless the work of our hands!

( Believing in Jesus as your Lord and personal savior is not a certificate to now fold your hands, sit on your chair and idling around waiting because He promised to come back for His church that is spotless and without blemishes.)

Serve Him while you wait for Him!

Serve Him in your career life!

Serve Him in your marriage life!

Serve Him in your calling!

Serve God with the work of your hands. Don’t limit Him from blessing you in one area!
Don’t reduce God’s Nature to human understanding which is limited!
God can never be limited because He Is far greater than religion!
There are so many things available in God’s grace that are not available in man’s religion.
God offers true forgiveness of sins through His Son, religion to fails to offer true forgiveness of sins!

Again, there’s a good reason…there’s a good reason as to why when God plucked you from sin into the grace of salvation, He left you still living in this physical world!
