PART THREE. 5 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD GIVE THANKS TO GOD IN PRAYER! (SERIES)!

  1. The third reason that requires us to come before God with thanksgiving and with a grateful heart is that thanksgiving directs us to where God Is. Thanksgiving is a pointer to the position of God. In other words, thanksgiving shows us the sure clear way to reach God because thanksgiving is a command from God Himself.

Thanksgiving is God’s Living Word and it is God’s command to us. It is living in that thanksgiving will actively show you where God Is and thanksgiving will lead you to where you will find God!

Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, ‘giving thanks’ to God the Father through Him.

In Daniel 6 we read more of the evil plots from the satraps and the governors which forced king Darius to sign a decree or command that was to lead Daniel to the den of lions. Daniel knew that in order for him to come to God with what he was facing, Daniel had to obey the command of The Lion of Judah, The Living Word of God and offer thanksgiving.

Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and (actively) gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days.

Daniel knew exactly what he was doing when he let the windows of his upper room open facing Jerusalem!

By letting his windows of the upper room face Jerusalem while open, Daniel was entering God’s place of position spiritually probably actively thanking God for His promised Word, Who Is The coming Messiah.
And by obeying the ‘Direction’ or leading of The Word of God to enter God’s Presence with active thanksgiving, Daniel was able to see less of the physical den of lions that was awaiting him!

Daniel had entered into God’s will and he was able to see the faithfulness and salvation of God enter before him even in the den of lions. This all happened positively or for the good of Daniel because Daniel followed the active direction of The Word in order to reach God The Father!

Beloved child of God today purpose to pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Jesus said… “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

Thanksgiving is a living active command from God.
Hence the third reason to come before God with thanksgiving and a grateful heart is that thanksgiving is a living command from God. Thanksgiving is The Living Word of God.

Enter into God’s gates with thanksgiving…Enter into God’s grace at God’s command who is the living Word of God. The Word of God is The Son of God Jesus Christ.

  1. Another reason to stand before God’s Holy PRESENCE with thanksgiving in heart is the “massive amounts of peace moments in your life” that God gives you which is beyond human understanding!

Have you ever sat down and calculated how much people pay out there just to have a peace of mind!

Vacations are good and both exiting and healthy, but have you considered the revelation that people still pay expensively to go for vacations in order to get some sort of #peace in their lives!

Having peace in your life is not a certificate of living a lazy lifestyle and refusing to pursue life dreams and achieving your ordained calling or passions.

Having peace in your life is not a license to glorify your “comfort zone” whether it’s luxurious one or gravely humble lifestyle.

Having peace in your life is having Love of God in your life!

Assurance of having the love of God in your life is believing in God’s only begotten Son, Jesus Christ!

Jesus said, “…Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you..”

🔥Jesus left us with Life!
🔥He gave us His Holy life!
🔥Jesus gave us ability to live a Holy living through The Holy Spirit!

Peace is Actually LIFE not merely an emotional feeling!!!

Peace which is also life is a sound reason to come before God with thanksgiving and a grateful heart.

There are people who are said to be able to focus more when they have peace.

We read of how Hannah despite being married to her loving and seemingly perfect husband Elkanah who enjoyed the treasures and pleasure of showering her with plenty even during worship offerings, she was unable to focus on the love that her husband showed her all because Hannah had no children of her own! (Read more find out how Hannah later found peace when she received a prophetic word from Eli.

Though having peace in life is not necessarily a reflection of absence of war … understanding the immense power of peace and importance of having true peace and understanding the real Source of peace in life is important.
When you discover how big “Peace” Is, you will always love to come before God with thanksgiving and a grateful heart.

Waking up with a sound mind is no rested assurance in our present life. This is solely because God Is Our only Assurance!

“..peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

True Peace is consistent.

Thank God you are At peace with Him.

Thank God you have peace With Him.

Thank God you have peace From Him.

Thank God that you have peace In Him.

Thank God that you find peace From Him.

Thank God for Who He Is. He Is The Prince of peace!

My prayer as you decide to return to God with thanksgiving is let Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord!

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you Is faithful, Who also will do it. Mercy, Peace and Love be multiplied to you.

Peace freely given to us by God Himself is a sure reason to come before God with humble thanksgiving and grateful hearts..and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Remember…Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Peace in life Is a good reason to come before God with thanksgiving and a grateful heart because Peace is Life!

REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD COME TO GOD WITH THANKSGIVING IN PRAYER!

Many people are used to coming before God with their needs, crying tears to God The Father seeking God to change their situation.

However, if the same energy is applied with a different approach to prayer, tremendous spiritual growth is a guarantee!

Instead of murmuring and complaining about your life to God in prayer, decide to return to God with thanksgiving and a grateful heart of praise!

Here’s 5 reasons why you should go to God in prayer with thanksgiving!

  1. Regardless of what you are presently facing or what you are presently faced with, decide to “see” God in His Awesome Majesty instead of seeing the magnitude of your situation. Why, you may wonder! Because, maybe, just maybe God Is planning to use that particular situation that you are presently facing to turn it around to work for your own good! The more you focus on Him, the more He focus on you! Remember, His Ways are not our ways. His thoughts are not our thoughts. His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts! (One good reason to come before God our Father with thanksgiving.)

 To some people, you are the only “church” they know. So purpose to actively bring “light” of Christ to someone’s life Today!

 To some people, you are the only face of God they know. So, purpose to actively shine the “light” of Christ in someone’s life Today!

To some people, you might carry the answer that they are looking for or you could be the only “preacher” they have ever know and seen.  Purpose to allow God’s Word to speak actively to someone’s life through your life Today!

Be a Christian believer who doesn’t have to necessarily imitate and copy other Christian believers!

Be the salt and light to the nations without necessarily being a hindrance to those who should come to the Light of God’s Word and without necessarily being a stumbling block to them that love God and diligently seek Him.

Be the a ” #church ” to others #today  without necessarily being a ” #judge ” of their lives! #judgenoone

  • To #Employers.

Treating ulcers, or treating high blood pressure or any other heart and blood related conditions is very expensive compared to working on having both healthy trusted relationship with your employees!

Setting CCTV in the fridge to check how much milk your househeld drinks in your absence will only lead you to one place; “disappointment office.”

Please see that you work on your insecurities in a positive impact such that you as the employer are not distracted by minor house details.

A well trained house employee will eventually yield to minimum supervision once trust is detected.

  • To #Parents

It is good to always keep tabs on your child’s whereabouts regardless of their age, but to stay in every inch of their space is a serious insecurity issue that will hinder your child’s growth in many ways.

In every training program, trainees are allocated time and chance once in a while to apply the knowledge they have acquired from their respective trainers.

It is not healthy for any trainer to repeatedly train the same program to his or her trainees over a long period of time.

Prolonged repeated training as opposed to art of Mastery creates little room for growth. When a parent keeps training their children from their childhood all the way to late adulthood without allowing the children to develop the acquired skills, will always lead to redundancy in the child’s development.

Most parents with insecurity issue towards their children often camouflage it as training season. As a good parent, work on your insecurities!

Let your 3yr old use your laptop or that office computer on their own once in a while, you never know, your child could learn playing piano faster that way.

Many adults attest to the point where they credit their passion for culinary arts to their early childhood upbringing. Parents who trust their own children enough to let them use electrical cookware as early as 7yrs end up boosting the child’s moral and self confidence in many hobbies upto adult life. As a good parent, work on your insecurities!

  • To #Wives

As a good wife, never confuse your husband for a domestic pet, one you can tame and tie a rope round their neck to pull around!

Checking on his iPhone messages when your husband is attending the bathroom will add unnecessary coals to your insecurity issue!

As a good wife, work on your insecurities! You don’t have to keep tabs on your husband’s IPhone messages to save your marriage. Save your marriage from its source, the altar where you both made your holy vows before God.

As a good wife, work on your insecurities through prayer! Prayer works and it should work out for the good of your marriage as well!

Nothing is impossible with God. As a good wife, work on your insecurities by praying with all prayer and supplication and watch as The Holy Spirit reveals before hand any genuine cracks of unfaithfulness that are in need of divine intervention.

Work on your insecurities as a good wife because when you put your trust in God, you shall not be put to shame.

  • To #Husbands

Demanding that your entire household accounts for every tiny grain of cooking salt from the half kilo packet you brought them last month will put unnecessary pressure to your kidneys!

As a good husband, see that you work on your insecurities and focus on other important departments other than the kitchen department affairs unless your career in life is in line with culinary!

As a good husband, work on your insecurities! It is good as the head to walk round your house every night checking on the doors including your kitchen door and the kitchen window. Stay focus on why you went to the kitchen initially!

As a good husband and father and head of the house, you always check out the house at night before bed just to secure your house and not to secure the meat and how many bones they have kept for your next meal etcetera!

Work on your insecurities as a good husband and all the bones will keep following you to your table!

Work on your insecurities as a good husband and you won’t have to rely on unhealthy “controlling behaviors” like barbarism, narcissism and dictatorship to command due respect in your own household. Respect is a slot that comes with every package of any grown man.

Maturity relates that a good husband is confident enough to be aware of who he is first without demanding forced recognition from his household! As a good husband, work on your insecurities!

So the king and Haman went to dine with Queen Esther.

And on the second day, at the banquet of wine, the king again said to Esther, “What is your petition, Queen Esther? It shall be granted you. And what is your request, up to half the kingdom? It shall be done!”

Then Queen Esther answered and said, “If I have found favor in your sight, O king, and if it pleases the king, let my life be given me at my petition, and my people at my request. Had we been sold as male and female slaves, I would have held my tongue, although the enemy could never compensate for the king’s loss.”

So King Ahasuerus answered and said to Queen Esther, “Who is he, and where is he, who would dare presume in his heart to do such a thing?” And Esther said, “The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman!”

So Haman was terrified before the king and queen. Then the king arose in his wrath from the banquet of wine and went into the palace garden; but Haman stood before Queen Esther, pleading for his life, for he saw that evil was determined against him by the king.

When the king returned from the palace garden to the place of the banquet of wine, Haman had fallen across the couch where Esther was. Then the king said, “Will he also assault the queen while I am in the house?”

As the word left the king’s mouth, they covered Haman’s face. Now Harbonah, one of the eunuchs, said to the king, “Look! The gallows, fifty cubits high, which Haman made for Mordecai, who spoke good on the king’s behalf, is standing at the house of Haman.”

Then the king said, “Hang him on it!” So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai.

Then the king’s wrath subsided.

Whenever you pray be hopeful that God will provide wisdom for you for every step you take and expect His guidance as He promises, “I will teach you in the way you should go. I will instruct you I will advice you!”

When you desire to walk closer by God whenever you start your day, God’s Holy Presence draws near to you and your life will eventually be reflecting the fruit of The Holy Spirit.

“All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” seeking God’s Fatherly guidance whenever you start your day ensures that His plans upon your life and His own Will upon your life and God’s Desired Will upon your life, will prevail and will remain!

Let your walk with God today bring a positive impact and possible difference in someone’s life in Jesus Name!

Jesus our good Shepherd always seeks to save the lost sheep…remember the parable of the lost sheep? The shepherd left the entire herd and went seeking for one lost sheep!

Jesus Christ came to seek and to save that which was lost.

This word *save* reminds of the time when you want to #save a file or document for storage and future reference, you simply click the “save as” command displayed on the screen. When you click the *save* command in computer operations, it means that the file to be *saved* is of importance and to be used again.

Jesus came to seek and to *save* …because He has plans for you..

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I think towards you, “says The LORD “plans of peace and not of evil to give you hope and a future.”

The Lord wants you to know about the kind of plans He has for you because “outside of His plans, you are bound to fall

1. into plans “that lack peace” and worse still You might fall

2. into “plans that are evil” and then end up

3. into “plans that have no hope” and definitely You might settle up

4. with “plans that lack a future or plans that have no expected end.”

He beckons you to allow Him to do what He’s good at; seek you and *save* you.

You may wonder why Jesus wants to save you? The truth is BECAUSE GOD’S NOT DONE WITH YOU YET!!! You are worth of His saving because you are the sheep of His pasture.

Jesus The good Shepherd will not throw His hands up in the air and say, “After all it’s only one tiny little sheep that has wandered away!”

Jesus The good Shepherd will come calling because He’s a good Shepherd enough to know that His sheep hear and know His voice.

Trials and Temptations may wear you down to the point of lagging behind in the journey of salvation. Jesus The good Shepherd wants you to hear Him calling you “come to Me all you who are weary and heavy burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.

He amazingly CARES for his own sheep. Cast your cares upon God, for He CARES for you.

That’s why Jesus wants you to know Him as The One Who SAVES because Jesus Christ Is The good Shepherd!!!

You might be facing some chronic illness or a terminal disease, instead of believing that God destined you for that crisis, focus on seeing the Might of The hand of God beyond that sickness. See, the devil came to steal, kill and destroy. Don’t advertise the works of Satan! Instead of glorifying the works of Satan, attract the attention of heaven!

ATTRACT THE ATTENTION OF HEAVEN…!!

Speak God’s mind into your mind. God’s Fatherly Desire for His children is they be in good health. God’s Fatherly Will for you as His child is you prosper in all ways even as your soul prospers.

It is not a sin to face a negative circumstance, but to create a pity-party out of it does not glorify The Name of God!

Remember this; nothing is impossible with God. This Is The kind of God He Is. He Is Our Provider! He Is Our Father! He Is The Lord of hosts!

When you decide to return to God with a repentant heart, it doesn’t matter to Him whether you were an alcoholic or you carried out an abortion or whether you killed someone in the past or whether you stole something. All God wants you to do is you have faith in Him…for without faith it is impossible to please God…

DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY MEAN BY SAYING, “Have faith in God?

What matters to God first is you return to Him with a repentant heart. If we confess our sins, He Is faithful and just enough to forgive us all our sin and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

God loves us and no ugly past-life ever lived or any current life presently seen will be able to separate you from the unconditionally Love of God.

Don’t allow the devil to create an illusion in your mind that what you are presently going through is so gigantic to fit in prayer or so complicated to match God’s mind.

Never allow the devil to start snoring into your ears about the greatness of your sins.

Truth is, the minute you entertain the enemy as close as into your thoughts, he will know you’ve definitely leased him some free rental space in your mind, then you as a child of The Living God you will start to see and believe the life that God lives very far in the beyond of Seventh Heaven!

God Is Emmanuel!

God With us.

He’s with you even where you are sitting right now!

He’s next to you to teach you in the way you should go …precisely on ways which will help you get yourself out of your present negative situation.

God Is with you to instruct you …probably on how to live a good holy life that is pleasing to HIM.

God stays with you to advice you probably on how to avoid similar negative circumstances in the future.

If some surveillance activities were remotely done on your phone precisely searching your picture’s gallery, how much of your wife’s pictures will be counted compared to images of other women probably of unknown nature?

Learn to take random pictures of your lovely wife and store more of her pictures in your gallery as opposed to pictures of foreign women!

Here’s the reason why this is important:

With all the innovation and chemical reactions all around the world, symptoms of forgetfulness especially the older you become are inevitable, so the more you keep seeing your wife’s beautiful face on your phone, the more your conscious REMINDS you of her as your wife. Ever wondered why you keep receiving alert reminders of your bank loans, alerts for your school fees arrears, alert reminders of your airtime balance and so on?

The more you keep pictures of foreign women other than those of your own wife, the more your inbox will be flooding with debts messages and warning SMS from your debtors. These debts alerts are simple spiritual signals that you owe your wife your love! You are indebted to love her for keeps!

Complying with the simple principle of “paying your debts promptly” will save you all the pain. Acknowledge that it God Who put you together with your wife to begin with then, obey His Word by faithfully loving your wife just as Christ loved the church and gave His life for it then watch God act upon His Word over your life. Pay your wife the “love-debt” you owe her as often as you can.

Love is expected of you by God as a believer to begin with. Owe no one anything except the gift of loving them, in this case, husbands LOVE your wives just as Christ loved the church and gave His life for it as apostle Paul commands in Ephesians 5:25.
