(The chastisement for our peace was upon Him.. ) I was busy enjoying my peaceful moment while playing my favorite king solitaire when the inevitable happened! My boss walked in without knocking and came straight to my desk. He leaned towards me and I immediately knew my fortieth day had arrived. Time wasting is never my thing really but this particular day I told myself let me just play a very tiny solitaire game then I’d completely stop with time wasting habits! Little did I know that honey is sweet and that’s why it’s never enough to taste it just with one lick! My boss leaned over and I swung my chair to face him just in time for him to summon me to sit down and that he had something to show me! Not again! I could hear my brain scream at me! “You mean your boss is that idle?” I don’t know why my boss is not like other CE Officers that I read about everywhere. When I’m expecting my boss to always have this demarcation line between him and his employees, mine is different. He invites his employees for lunch at his villa every weekend and as if this is not enough, he allows us to borrow his personal things including cash and vice versa! My boss borrows from me cash then pays back triple the amount! He’s so different in a positive way rather. So, this particular day though I knew I was breaking company’s rules, I was some calm with his coming! He leaned over then pulled out his iPhone and showed me some pictures. I was still trying to get what the pictures were about when he quickly gave me a disturbing statement that slightly sounded offensive. “See, I told you. The virus is still killing people especially from your country!” I was like, “what? What has that to do with me? You should know better sir, that’s the last thing I need to hear especially you sir. My faith was being tasted and my “every nerve” was equally being weighed here! I could hear my blood running through my vein at a sprint speed, totally different from the usual speed! But save for The Holy Spirit Who reminded me the power of wisdom, I gathered courage and decided to approach it in wiser way! I was still pretending to be looking at the pictures not hearing what he was telling me when he repeated himself, “this virus is mean, see it’s killing your countrymen!” Alright, I smiled at his beautiful iPhone one more time, looked at the pictures then with some mysterious let’s-do-this courage I faced him. “I see, but sir I am aware that all this is because of too much Television and too much online! I also have the same problem sir. I am sometimes carried away with too much watching of news and there’s always fake news being aired somewhere sir. This is one of the many fabricated lies you can find online about some place!” I kept his iPhone on the desk then faced him and with one look at his face, I realized there’s still room for more. “Have you ever been to my country sir? I mean, have you ever travelled outside of your continent? It’s the same with me, I always see videos ads of how explosions are taking place in your own country and yet I’ve lived and worked here as a foreigner for a decade and I have never witnessed a single explosion sir!” I went on. By this time I couldn’t help but notice that his smile length was reducing and I knew it’s about time! So I quickly picked up his iPhone looking for an escape then with a less friendly tone, he asked me why I was touching his iPhone! The atmosphere had changed but I knew The Holy Spirit was in the office and gathered more confidence and as I was handing him his iPhone, I mentioned to him that I was checking the iPhone because I thought I saw something like his wife’s miss call! I must say I thank GOD our boss because our relationship with the boss is always healthy and secure because not many employers are comfortable around their own employees. THE CHASTISEMENT FOR OUR PEACE WAS UPON HIM.. our peace with God The Father depends upon Jesus. Question! How’s your relationship with Jesus Christ!
You cannot keep condemning and cursing where you are intending to go if at all you have not yet arrived there and you are still holding positive plans of safely arriving at the same destination!
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
HOW TO REMAIN FOCUSED DURING CRITICAL MOMENTS IN LIFE!

In the world you will have tribulations, (meaning that the World gives “birth” to tribulations and tribulations and problems of life exists and problems happen to anyone as long as that person is alive living in the world..) but be of good cheer ..( in that though tribulations may bring sadness and drain every reason for you to remain joyful and happy..it is of great importance that while going through trials and tribulations of the world, you find a way to maintain and keep your God given peace, you keep your joy and you remain strong, courageous and focused).. Christ has overcome the world..( meaning that other than the person of Christ Jesus and in the person of Christ Jesus there’s no other human and there’s no other known way to overcome the tribulations that the World births. Jesus Christ has tasted every tribulation that the world “births” and has overcome to the point of being Master over the World ..so the best way of manoeuvring through trials and tribulations that the World births and at the same time maintaining the Peace of God, the only kind of peace found in Jesus Christ is to remain in Christ and to remain with Christ….by remaining in His Word..the Word that Jesus speaks to you as you read His Word.)

You are tired of that situation! You have a desire to get out of that huge debt! You are living in condemnation and man made damnation and you have now begun to realise that there’s nowhere left for you to go. You are pressed by loneliness from all angles and today you have no choice left. Time is watching you with curious eyes for your next move since your situation has compressed you into despair and hopelessness. You have tried to handle that situation from every angle with no avail yet there’s one surprise awaiting you if you pay more attention.
That corner which your situation put you into is one angle of the cross of Jesus. The cross of Jesus has four angles that meet up to make a cross! Guess what! There’s no corner of life where Jesus Christ can not reach you! Forsake you sorrow and embrace the cross of Jesus. There’s life at the cross of Jesus.
I speak life into your situation. I speak life. You are here on Earth to live. You shall live and not die. It doesn’t matter the situation. I speak life. You shall live and testify growth after growth.
I speak joy into your situation. Unspeakable joy shall be experienced in your workplace and your home. The joy of The LORD is your strength. It doesn’t matter how your situation is intentionally mocking you and how your past is effortlessly compelling you to stay in sorrow. You shall experience unspeakable joy with extreme victory over victory. You shall experience unspeakable joy.
I speak an overflow of abundance to you and your children into your children’s children. Abundance of riches shall sit and lay in wait for you in every way you go. No eye has seen nor has it entered into the heart of man ‘the blessing’ that The LORD has in store for them who love Him.. In Jesus Name it shall come to pass.

The more you pray, while your enemies laugh at you , the more you will bow your head down and kneel crucifying the flesh, the more the enemies are thrown at your footstools in confusion not understanding why you are not broken outward, thus elevation of your spiritual life..far from the enemies and nearer to God.
5. The more you pray, the more your eyes receive enlightenment to see doors that you never knew you qualify to walk through.
6. The more you pray, the more every negative report, negative situations, or bad news will be nullified by the sound of your prayer to God.
7. The more you pray, the more you find strength to say NO to sin.

LESSONS TO LEARN: 1. God hears and understands the intents of our heart. (Remember that the Angel said to Daniel that he-Angel came because of Daniel’s words)
2. Good understanding comes from God. Wisdom comes from God. Ask of it.
3. When you seek God’s intervention, always ensure that fear is absent!
4. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God… always pray with assurance of victory… this is the confidence we have in Him, that when we pray according to His will, He hears us, and if He hears us then we have the petition that we have asked of ..

5. Though we fall short of God’s glory, God is merciful enough to dwell in us! For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
6. God created you is His own desired imagine as in according to God’s liking or according to God’s likeness!
7. God spoke you into being! It took the unity of God to create you! ( God Is Triune meaning God Is Three in One.)
*man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth from the mouth of God.*
HERE ARE KEY POINTS TO TAKE HOME: 1. As much as you feed your physical body (bread), you are equally expected to feed your spiritual body(with every word that proceedeth from the mouth of God.) 2. God wants man to live. Learn to declare life in you and every part of you.

WHAT LIFE LESSONS DO YOU LEARN FROM THIS BIBLE INCIDENT?

Then he conferred with Joab the son of Zeruiah and with Abiathar the priest, and they followed and helped Adonijah.
But Zadok the priest, Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, Nathan the prophet, Shimei, Rei, and the mighty men who belonged to David were not with Adonijah.
And Adonijah sacrificed sheep and oxen and fattened cattle by the stone of Zoheleth, which is by En Rogel; he also invited all his brothers, the king’s sons, and all the men of Judah, the king’s servants.
But he did not invite Nathan the prophet, Benaiah, the mighty men, or Solomon his brother. So Nathan spoke to Bathsheba the mother of Solomon, saying, “Have you not heard that Adonijah the son of Haggith has become king, and David our lord does not know it? Come, please, let me now give you advice, that you may save your own life and the life of your son Solomon..
Go immediately to King David and say to him, ‘Did you not, my lord, O king, swear to your maidservant, saying, “Assuredly your son Solomon shall reign after me, and he shall sit on my throne“? Why then has Adonijah become king?’
Then, while you are still talking there with the king, I also will come in after you and confirm your words.” So Bathsheba went into the chamber to the king. (Now the king was very old, and Abishag the Shunammite was serving the king.)..
And just then, while she was still talking with the king, Nathan the prophet also came in…
Then King David answered and said, “Call Bathsheba to me.” So she came into the king’s presence and stood before the king.
And the king took an oath and said, “As the LORD lives, who has redeemed my life from every distress, just as I swore to you by the LORD God of Israel, saying, ‘Assuredly Solomon your son shall be king after me, and he shall sit on my throne in my place,’ so I certainly will do this day.”…
Now Adonijah was afraid of Solomon; so he arose, and went and took hold of the horns of the altar.
And it was told Solomon, saying, “Indeed Adonijah is afraid of King Solomon; for look, he has taken hold of the horns of the altar, saying, ‘Let King Solomon swear to me today that he will not put his servant to death with the sword.’ ”
Then Solomon said, “If he proves himself a worthy man, not one hair of him shall fall to the earth; but if wickedness is found in him, he shall die.”
So King Solomon sent them to bring him down from the altar. And he came and fell down before King Solomon; and Solomon said to him, “Go to your house.”

In as much as the human body is prone to attack from sicknesses and diseases especially when hygiene and health precautions are ignored, the human spirit is similarly prone to attack from spiritual sicknesses and spiritual diseases theologically referred to as demonic possession!
Demons and satanic agents attack undecided undiscerning believers in many ways.
Below are subtle ways many unsuspecting christian believers unknowingly succumb to demonic oppressions due to their own ignorance!
1. Early this year God blessed the work of your hand and you managed to secure yourself and your family with a nice family car. The asset has been of great service to everyone in your family such that of late you have been harbouring thoughts of buying another car similar to the other one in your garage, but only this time you want to get one that has American wheels. To you this is what everyone is driving, the american wheel type! You are willing to secure a loan just to purchase this car but in real essence you are suffering from an ungodly desire for more possessions and more this more that!
Beloved, this type spiritual suffering and spiritual sorrow is not from God. The blessing of the Lord makes one rich and it adds no sorrow to it.
Why would you buy a second car, a third car and probably a fourth car, flaunt them all in your garage yet there are some supposedly mutual friends of yours in your “inner circle” who don’t even own a motorbike let alone a car. Don’t be busy planning to buy a car “with money that you don’t have, to please a neighborhood who’s inhabitants you hardly love just to always keep in the garage..due to high maintenance..which eventually will not be serving the need you had in the first place.” He who has an ear let him hear what The Spirit is saying today!
In as much as God calls us into a life of complete abundance and prosperity, His nature should remain in us. God loves a cheerful giver because by nature God is a giver. (See John 3: 16. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.)
In as much as we are expected to embrace a rich mentality, it is so that we be a channel where God will “flow” through!
There’s nothing wrong if you own numerous items while at the same time you use your blessings to touch numerous lives. A giver is a giver, not a keeper! We are blessed so as to bless others. Keeping (withholding) the blessing that God gives you is embracing the wrong attitude that you are better than your Employer, or you are better than your Gym trainer, Gym Instructor, or you are better than your Teacher or Master Who in this case is God your sole Creator!
Perfect love brings “deliverance” from demonic oppressions and demonic torment where in this case the oppressions and torment in a christian’s is the pride of life that comes when he begins to adore the gifts that God gives him and on the other hand he’s busy abhorring God his Source and Giver!
“Don’t allow mere things marked by mortal man in the name of logos and brand names cause you to miss the mark that God has ordained in you!”@christinekimaita
“Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.”
“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment.”
“But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.”

2. As a wife, a mother and an employer, your husband gifted you with a beautiful wardrobe. In fact you have such a big beautiful wardrobe that it doesn’t fit all your Turkey suits and China Manufactured clothing. In other words, every member of your merry go round group knows you as the woman who dresses expensively, and dresses her children in a similar standard. You are a true admiration among other women. However you are lacking in one subtle way, the last time you gifted your house help expensively was when you bought her a mobile device which in all essence was so that you maintain communication whenever you are away from your house. As if not enough, you went ahead and deducted from her salary that phone’s purchase! With all your Turkey suits overflowing in your wardrobe, you hardly know what to wear to where and how to wear to where and when to wear to where! You are in constant mind battles within yourself whenever you want to dress up. One minute you want to dress modestly as a mother the next minute another voice cries that you need to dress sexy to save your marriage!
Beloved, this type of spiritual suffering and spiritual sorrow is not from God. The blessing of the Lord makes one rich and it adds no sorrow to it.

We are called into a life of abundance, abundant in love for others just like God loves us…
“No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.”
“By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.”
“And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.”
“And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.”

We are called into a life of abundance, abundant in kindness … “Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.”
We are called into a life of abundance, abundant in peace and patience with fellow man.. “Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. But avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife. And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.”
SUMMARY; A Giver is a giver, not a keeper!
A Giver Vs. A Keeper
1. A giver is a lover. 1. A keeper is a liar
2. A giver is patient. 2. A keeper is always a receiver
“If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?”
The minute you realise that you own something that you can do away with for a long period of time, humbly accept that it is your call to love your brother!. Love is a doing Word! Love is a good lifestyle!
“And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.”
(HOW TO LISTEN TO GOD AND FIND WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR.)
1. God desires all His children to live in life of complete abundance and total obedience to His Word.
(See Isaiah 55:2) ….”Why do you spend money for what is not bread, And your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And let your soul delight itself in abundance..”
2. Why does God call us to a life of complete abundance?
God Is pleased in the prosperity of His servant. He is glorified in our prosperity. (See Isaiah 55:5) ….”Surely you shall call a nation you do not know, And nations who do not know you shall run to you, Because of the LORD your God, And the Holy One of Israel; For He has glorified you.”
3. God wants us to realize that true abundance of life is found in Him and nowhere else. (See Isaiah 55:6) “….Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the LORD, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon..”
4. So, how can one achieve this true abundance of life that God is calling us into? How do christian believers find abundance of life full of prosperity?
A renewed mind is what any christian believer requires to have true abundance of life. Your thought-line has to be renewed and be aligned with the Word of God. Get rid of sin in your heart (mind). You are above.. and not beneath.
(See Isaiah 55:7-9) Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the LORD, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon. “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the LORD. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts. (God wants us to have thoughts of victory… victory even over sin..rather than thoughts of defeat..or complying with sin..)
5. Is it possible to live in abundance in today’s world? Is God trustworthy enough to keep His Word? What are some of the benefits of choosing to live in abundance as per God’s plan?
-God is faithful to keep His Word! -God is faithful to reward all obedience to His Word! -His Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path ….to lead us to true abundance and true satisfaction of life!
(See Isaiah 55:10-13) ..For [las the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater, So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper inthething for which I sent it.
“For you shall go out with joy, And be led out with peace; The mountains and the hills Shall break forth into singing before you, And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress tree, And instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree; And it shall be to the LORD for a name, For an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.”
