(The chastisement for our peace was upon Him.. ) I was busy enjoying my peaceful moment while playing my favorite king solitaire when the inevitable happened! My boss walked in without knocking and came straight to my desk. He leaned towards me and I immediately knew my fortieth day had arrived. Time wasting is never my thing really but this particular day I told myself let me just play a very tiny solitaire game then I’d completely stop with time wasting habits! Little did I know that honey is sweet and that’s why it’s never enough to taste it just with one lick! My boss leaned over and I swung my chair to face him just in time for him to summon me to sit down and that he had something to show me! Not again! I could hear my brain scream at me! “You mean your boss is that idle?” I don’t know why my boss is not like other CE Officers that I read about everywhere. When I’m expecting my boss to always have this demarcation line between him and his employees, mine is different. He invites his employees for lunch at his villa every weekend and as if this is not enough, he allows us to borrow his personal things including cash and vice versa! My boss borrows from me cash then pays back triple the amount! He’s so different in a positive way rather. So, this particular day though I knew I was breaking company’s rules, I was some calm with his coming! He leaned over then pulled out his iPhone and showed me some pictures. I was still trying to get what the pictures were about when he quickly gave me a disturbing statement that slightly sounded offensive. “See, I told you. The virus is still killing people especially from your country!” I was like, “what? What has that to do with me? You should know better sir, that’s the last thing I need to hear especially you sir. My faith was being tasted and my “every nerve” was equally being weighed here! I could hear my blood running through my vein at a sprint speed, totally different from the usual speed! But save for The Holy Spirit Who reminded me the power of wisdom, I gathered courage and decided to approach it in wiser way! I was still pretending to be looking at the pictures not hearing what he was telling me when he repeated himself, “this virus is mean, see it’s killing your countrymen!” Alright, I smiled at his beautiful iPhone one more time, looked at the pictures then with some mysterious let’s-do-this courage I faced him. “I see, but sir I am aware that all this is because of too much Television and too much online! I also have the same problem sir. I am sometimes carried away with too much watching of news and there’s always fake news being aired somewhere sir. This is one of the many fabricated lies you can find online about some place!” I kept his iPhone on the desk then faced him and with one look at his face, I realized there’s still room for more. “Have you ever been to my country sir? I mean, have you ever travelled outside of your continent? It’s the same with me, I always see videos ads of how explosions are taking place in your own country and yet I’ve lived and worked here as a foreigner for a decade and I have never witnessed a single explosion sir!” I went on. By this time I couldn’t help but notice that his smile length was reducing and I knew it’s about time! So I quickly picked up his iPhone looking for an escape then with a less friendly tone, he asked me why I was touching his iPhone! The atmosphere had changed but I knew The Holy Spirit was in the office and gathered more confidence and as I was handing him his iPhone, I mentioned to him that I was checking the iPhone because I thought I saw something like his wife’s miss call! I must say I thank GOD our boss because our relationship with the boss is always healthy and secure because not many employers are comfortable around their own employees. THE CHASTISEMENT FOR OUR PEACE WAS UPON HIM.. our peace with God The Father depends upon Jesus. Question! How’s your relationship with Jesus Christ!

1. Be positive.
-Learn to always see good of others, see good in others without necessarily condoning any wrong or evil they may have committed. (Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.)
-Be a constructive “criticizer” if you need to with the aim of helping out rather than break other people’s moral.
-Learn to always cease every available opportunity and give both positive as well as honest compliments and due appreciations or swift apologies whenever the need arises.
-Having a positive attitude and a positive mind gives one great dominance in a subtle way which is the whole idea behind living a life of dignity.

There is no beauty in sin. Sin has no category and it has no shape no size yet it has its origin. Through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned—
Every sin is ugly because it is man made. That’s why in old testament sin was always paid with a shameful death. Sin entered the world through one man Adam then man made laws turned them into man made religion in a failed attempt to reconcile with God but gratefully that paved way for God’s amazing plan for man’s redemption in that God realised that man is in need of redemption and salvation ( remember how Adam sought to cover himself with leaves when he heard God coming…)
..they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.
And they heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden.
The law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more, so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Sin can not be measured. It’s wages is always the same. The wages of sin is death .. regardless of what sin one has committed, if the individual refuses to accept the God’s humble call that… if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Sin can not be categorised… such that one will say “my sin is a tiny one God will understand my weakness..” God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
God loves righteousness and hates wickedness; God hates sin. Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.
Every sin is pardonable. In the old testament, God made provisions for the atonement of sin commanding “..you shall offer a bull every day as a sin offering for atonement. You shall cleanse the altar when you make atonement for it, and you shall anoint it to sanctify it.”
You don’t have to kill to be forgiven of your sin. Today, daily atonement is expected of every child of God. Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
If anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world…Whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.
Our prayer for you today is you.. behold The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

So lately you’ve been thinking about quitting your job. You seem to be having more enemies day in day out at your work place. You always catch them gossiping about you mocking about the way you dress and everything and this has recently been upsetting you. You can’t leave your desk briefly without carrying your handbag and your essential items along with you else you’ll come back and find that some thief workmates were going all through your personal items.
Of course your employer has never hidden his thought of laying you out in the near future because according to him your work input has grown incompetent. You are feeling miserable because your children seem to be giving you headache alot. Your in-laws and siblings are just another reason for your constant migraines collectively. You can’t stand the fact that your younger brother recently opened a cold store down the street. According to you he’s just displaying unnecessary sibling competitions.
Listen to me, all you who are serious about right living and committed to seeking God. Ponder the rock from which you were cut, the quarry from which you were dug. Yes, ponder Abraham, your father, and Sarah, who bore you. Think of it! One solitary man when I called him, but once I blessed him, he multiplied.
Likewise I, God, will comfort Zion, comfort all her mounds of ruins. I’ll transform her dead ground into Eden, her moonscape into the garden of God, A place filled with exuberance and laughter, thankful voices and melodic songs.
Let’s be honest here dear brother and dear sister!

How long have you been working for that family now? Six months, three years, eight weeks? Why are you suddenly seeing your boss as wicked and mean? Why has it taken you this long to suddenly see the faults in your boss? You agreed to take care of her children until she completes her degree and suddenly now you are seeing faults here and faults there with your boss.
Could it be you are forgetting something! Listen.. all you who are serious about right living and committed to seeking God. Ponder the rock from which you were cut, the quarry from which you were dug. You as an employee were hewed to that position by faith. When you were jobless, you prayed earnestly and because of His faithful nature, God considered your faith and answered you with a job.
Don’t destroy your faith! Work out your faith by #prayer . Pray to get the eyes of your understanding to be enlightened about your situation, about your marriage, about your business, about your career and your general relationships and christian fellowship with fellow brethren! Work out your salvation with fear and trembling.
Abraham walked by faith and found favor with God. Jacob walked by faith and found favor with God. Joseph walked by faith and found favor with God…etc
All who walked by faith found favor with God. Walking by faith has nothing to do with walking in fear, walking in complains and constant murmurings. Faith will obey the Word of God. Fear, complains and constant murmurings will question the authority, the authenticity and outcome or manifestation of the Bible. Remember Lot’s wife..his wife looked back behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
As a child of God, in your walk with God, in your journey of faith, don’t look behind your Master… don’t look behind your Deliverer. Looking behind as your Deliverer guides you through safely is a sign of disobedience. Stop complaining about your God given blessings! Regardless of how things have turned out, unlike #murmuring fault-finding and #complaining , #thanksgiving is a #powerfilled #weapon as well!
🌟The Cross of Jesus Christ Is the saving message of God’s plan to save the perishing mankind!
Have you ever wondered why the preaching of the cross of Jesus appears like a stumbling block for the sinners, and at times the message of the cross of Jesus is the very piercing truth to the marrow, and even at times the message of the cross of Jesus Christ is very accurate in healing every sickness and every wound and at times the message of the cross is a bloody message that brings deliverance!
..the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
The “perishing” people regard the message of the cross as foolishness when
they mock the message of the cross of Jesus,
when they scorn the message of the cross,
whenever they dislike it being preached, or
when they undervalue the power of message of the cross, and
some even revile the message of the cross in their community,
rejecting and outwardly neglecting the message of the cross of Jesus.
The perishing people do so about the message of the cross because
1.they literally did not understand the message that King Pilate wrote ON the cross..Pilate wrote a title and put it on the cross. And the writing was: JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS.
One can’t help but wonder what #revelation Pilate had about Jesus to have come up with that title and having it written on the cross of Jesus.
(The perishing people literally never remained behind long enough at the cross to see and understand the full manifestation of the cross of Jesus.)
2. they never understood what Jesus meant when He proclaimed “it is finished”
…when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit. (John 19:30)
3. they literally never understood that the message of the cross of Jesus is the message of “crossing 🚸” over from the sinful nature of the flesh to be being filled with The Holy Ghost that Jesus gave at the cross thus walking in the Spirit.
Remember story of Jacob when he was was fleeing from his father in law Laban (Syrian)..Jacob stole away, unknown to Laban the Syrian, in that he did not tell him that he intended to flee. So he fled with all that he had. He arose and *crossed the river* and headed toward the mountains of Gilead.
Picture Jacob crossing the river with all his livestock and all his possession..it was definitely not an easy task to cross the river and probably Jacob had no option mostly because Jacob’s time to return to “his father’s land” had arrived.
He had to cross from the land of his father in law Laban the Syrian back to his father’s land according to God’s plan.
1. Create ample time to meditate especially meditating on the WORD of God. Never underestimate the power in meditating upon the Word of God because through it you’ll be able to reflect and assimilate on the much you have learned from your reading of the Bible.
Meditating upon the Word of God will also allow the effective living Word of God to become alive in your own life whenever The Holy Spirit brings The Word to your remembrance.
2. Create quality time and go for good holiday vacation in good company and go for general traveling alone or with others.
Never underestimate the power in a good family vacation time and a long travel group trip away from the norm because through it you’ll be able to basically enjoy and digest what you have earned.
Plan to travel outside of your normal localities once in a while even if you have to go learn something new and learn different ways of how similar things are done by other communities.
3. Create quality ample time and go evangelize, go for fellowship and go encourage the few, the lost , the heartbroken, the hopeless, the weary, the bound.
Evangelism is not just a limited pew edition meant only for the ecclesiasticaldignitaries. Bring the pews along with you and prayerfully remember that The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon you, because the LORD has anointed you to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent you to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn, to console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.
Never underestimate the power in #evangelism because you receive divine power even as you evangelize, even as you encourage others and there’s emancipated great divine power received in good healthy fellowship of other christian believers and other christian brethrens.
Jesus said, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Summary of how to build a powerful attitude is to simply BUILD A POWERFUL ATTITUDE AROUND JESUS.
-Be kind to other people. -Help those near and beyond. -Support as much as possible. -Smile and laugh to heal souls. -Love and hug to bring growth. -Give daily and cheerfully. -Forgive for your own success. -Cultivate attitudes of gratitude -Appreciate so as to add value. -Detox from unhealthy habits. -Take a rest in a day -Be empathic. -Show understanding.
If you incorporate these beautiful attitudes and life principles in your daily living one Living Truth will stand out to you * IT IS IN GIVING THAT WE RECEIVE AND IT IS IN DYING THAT WE ARE BORN TO ETERNAL LIFE*
Always pay extra attention on how you dress up anytime you are about to leave the house. This is because when you decide to dress well before going out, that decision alone contributes greatly on how you will be received when you arrive at the place where you intended to go!
So, how can one ensure that they always dress well before stepping out? The answer is very simple. Just make sure that you are not dressing in a dark room! Make sure your room is not dark else you won’t be able to check out the condition of your garments. It doesn’t matter whether you arranged your garments the before night, when the time comes for you to dress up, there’s always need to check your garments again before dressing up. That final check up greatly contributes to your dressing up properly.
Every believer ought to get rid of the darkness in their spiritual walk with God. In order to receive the garments of righteousness, believers must abandon sin and embrace righteous living. Believers must pay attention and take good care of how they put on their ‘spiritual garment’ if we are to be conformed to the likeness of Christ.
The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness. Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness. If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.
Don’t be too knowing always, learn how to dress up well ❤️啕.
The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.
It takes you little energy to ready your clothes for the next day by washing, pressing or folding them as compared to the much energy you’d apply while trying to explain yourself to others why the shirt is missing a button or why your blouse has a bad odour.
Always dress up well because any believer who has mastered the right way to dress up properly confidently agrees that it is God that girdeth them with strength, and maketh their way perfect ❤️啕.
When you master the art of dressing well and dressing properly, it will be easier for you to dress up for any occasion without any problems. Proper dressing hardly calls for expensive numerous outfits. It is a matter of understanding your personal body and identifying that which complements your body.
Always dress up well and in case you don’t know how to dress up properly God Is faithful enough to teach and guide you through the indwelling Presence of The Holy Spirit. Psalms 32:8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with Mine eye.
GOD’S REST IS #AVAILABLE ! 🌺And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.

When the husband starts to repeatedly rely for simple advice on how to treat his own wife from his parents, or from his neighbors, or even from his colleagues, other than from his own wife, this stage is spiritually labeled as the drop-point of the man’s level of glory.
Your duty as the woman of the house is to pray for your husband and seek to win his trust back.
Be a great wife who supports her husband instead of watching her husband while he swiftly drifts to the other side of the “marriage bed.”
When a man starts to repeatedly rely for borrowed money from his parents, or his neighbors or so from his colleagues other than from his wife to provide for his wife’s needs and his own children, this stage of his life is spiritually labeled as the drop-point of the man’s level of glory.
Your duty as the woman of the house is not only to pray for your husband’s financial dream, or to pray for increase of his income sources!
Be a great wife who manages and supports well the readily available income and provisions that her husband is currently earning and bringing home and always live with the expectation of producing more financial folds from what you are presently given by your husband. Women are producers by default!

When a man starts to repeatedly rely for outside help from his parents, or from his neighbors or so from his colleagues other than from his wife in performing simple house chores like changing his car tyres, or assembling a newly bought T.V or Radio, or even so simple chores like changing diapers, this stage of his life is spiritually labeled as the drop-point of the man’s level of glory. Men are providers by default!

Your duty as the woman of the house is not only to pray for your husband to learn basic skills or to pray for your husband to learn how to be a responsible father figure to his children!
Be a great wife who supports her husband with encouragement and expectations of positive changes even when her husband appears to initially lack the basic skills that old cultures engrave!
Be a great mother who takes great care of her own children and who is responsible enough to change those diapers by herself!
To be honest I don’t know about you beloved reader, but for me prayer has always worked out in my life. Whenever I engage in prayer, I have the assurance of God’s Faithfulness! Either it’s a yes, or a no or a wait depending on the circumstance but prayer for me is no try and error but tried and true!
When God blessed me with the international job, my faith shifted from one level of glory to a higher level of glory. Not necessarily because of God answering my prayer, but in the process I learnt I can always depend upon the love of God from any deepness and from all angles!
However, the grievous mistake many children of God make after receiving answer to their prayers is to have an ungrateful heart. Yes I know. By now you are probably saying this in your mind, “no I always remember to say Thank You Jesus for the healing, or Thank You Father for your provision” and etcetera etcetera! But this is one mistake that we tend to so easily forget. “An overstayed comfort-zone digs a pit for ingratitude”
An Ungrateful heart can come in so many shades of color that unless one has the spirit of discernment, it is not easy to know you are being ungrateful as a believer!
Take for instance, there was this day years into my international job when I found myself asking out this question. “After the miracle, then what next?” The reason that prompted me to ask myself the above question is what I’d like to share with you in a moment.
“THINGS OF GOD SHOULD BE MAINTAINED BY GOD”
That particular day started out well and was so promising as usual until the spoiler came! I was busy minding my own, and by my own I mean meditating upon the Word of God while reading one of my favorite Newspapers, #TheStandard #KenyaNewspaper . It was tea break.
Then, out of nowhere, a colleague came up to my desk. Initially I didn’t give it a thought. Our office is a large hall partitioned in a way where one floor has like 12 office desks, so it’s the main con of this setup is there’s very minimum privacy, that’s why it was normal for a colleague to just come over to your desk whenever they wanted. However, being an introvert, I hardly encourage chitchat during office hours but like they say “In every marketplace there’s always a mentally challenged character walking around” and this particular colleague of mine was not an exception!
He came over, sat with all nerve at the end of my desk, leaned towards me with his charming smile like he was initiating some flirting, then out of the very blue instead of a kiss on my cheek, He slapped my ears with a very painful statement!
“Tit-tok! When are we going to celebrate your wedding Ms Christine. You are the only one who’s never carried a child in this office.” What! dude, are you now a walking alarm? I was not expecting it to say the truth.
And he said it a such a way no one heard what he told me but when I briefly looked over his shoulder, I saw 10 pairs of eyes all looking my way with deep anticipation as if telling each other, “let’s wait and see, any minute from now she’s going to burst out with anger!” I say ten pairs of eyes without counting the two of us and several eye glasses used in the office leave alone the security cameras! Every single person in the office was for a minute paying attention most probably to have a live catch at my reaction!
That’s the moment when I realized that there was some foul tongue of gossip that was circulating within the office floor.
*…And every tongue which rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD. And their righteousness is from Me.” says the LORD.* With no physical evidence, my spirit just whispered in me that there was some very bad wind of gossip that was blowing around the office without my prior knowledge. My new international job had apparently stirred up different jealousy levels at my new work environment while I was busy enjoying the blessing of job promotion, a spiritual challenge which I had overlooked out of clear ignorance!
*For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high…
…thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.*
My miracle of the international job had apparently come with it’s share of “spring challenges” which are usually meant to keep us awake as God’s children. See, it is very easy for a child of God to start worshipping the gifts of God without knowing, instead of worshipping The Giver. It’s easy for any believer full of patches from past wounds to start worshipping the creation instead of worshipping The Creator! It’s very easy!-just like that!~
Years into my new job, I was drifting into zones of ungratefulness without knowing. A job that I had birthed in tears, a prayer moment with body fluids flow-out running out of my body in ounces to the tiled floor of my then bedsitter. This very new job was now swiftly and firmly receiving all my praise and attention more than The Giver of that job. “THINGS OF GOD SHOULD BE MAINTAINED BY GOD”
My reader what I mean by saying body liquids flow-out, I am politely referring to tears running down my eyes and there was some from my nose also but very little. So let’s be at peace knowing that the body fluids flow-out being referred to here is tears only, because as you are aware humans have several types of body fluids flow-out and the women have an additional body fluids flow-out for that matter!
Again, my reader, I am in no way suggesting that focusing on your job is sin, no. The problem caves in when you fail to understand what happens next after the miracle! When God answers your prayer, praise Him to the magnitude where you will hear your inner man echoing and being confident of this very thing, that He Who begun the good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. The Creator of the ends of the Earth neither faints not Is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases their strength. Even the youth shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, but those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. The level of strength which I used to birth my job miracle through prayer should have been equally proportionate to the level of strength I needed to “maintain” my miracle. Applying this simple spiritual principle in your life, it doesn’t matter which Formula you use to solve the riddle in here, “After the miracle, what next? the answer is = Depend on God.
After getting my international job through prayer, I was comfortable with the casual “Oh Thank You Jesus for the job!” kind of prayers and I considered it as coming from a grateful heart. See, our Father doesn’t just require us to thank Him and give Him Praise for all He has done with us, all He has done within us, and all that He does through us. God LOVES when we Depend on Him! The time I wasted reciting reprogrammed prayers to God after receiving the international job as the answer to my prayer, was enough time for the devil to stir up jealousy levels within my work environment!
Let’s look at it this way; No country will receive you with a visa entry bearing the name of a different nation other than the name of the host nation. For example, if you are traveling to Kenya, you require a Kenyan visa in order to be allowed into the country. You can never present a Bahrain visa at the Kenyan airport and expect entry.
One fundamental Truth states “The Things of God must be maintained by God Himself.”
The statement that my colleague whispered in me that day was so piercing that I felt the urge to talk to God about it. That day I waited till evening and when I arrived at home, I immediately went to my prayer closet and poured my heart to God. I remember crying heavily that evening not because of the judgemental words of my colleague, but at some point I knew it was time for a “spiritual combat” with my Father. I needed God to make me understand why I was being attacked! In other words, I was experiencing the “why me, where did I go wrong, and when did I refuse” momentous pullback.
Funny enough the my minute I became aware of The Immense Presence of God in my prayer closet that particular evening and that’s when The Holy Spirit begun to pour understanding in me;
” Evil words or negative words spoken to you from the MOUTH of the ungodly people may pierce you like fiery darts of the enemy or be as painful as the intramuscular syringe injection, but they can never be more powerful than The Word spoken to you by the MOUTH of God HIMSELF.” For The Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Of course after that incident at the office and after applying the wise counsel of The Holy Spirit, as we speak, that particular colleague of mine though he later apologized for his careless mediocre remarks that day, the damage was already done according to his wife. Days later after everyone else had forgotten about it, his wife is said to have woken up one morning after hearing their teenage daughter screaming in her bedroom.
When the mother went to check out her daughter and when she realized she couldn’t pin why their daughter was screaming frantically, she decided to rush her to their family doctor who after several repeated examinations on the child ruled it as aneurysms of the brain as the problem!
It’s a pity that the damage was already done according to my colleague’s wife, but on my hand that a close reminder after receiving the miracle, then I depend on God all the way! One thing I strongly believe is that I don’t have to wait until God “sends” me to His drawing board when I can freely agree to stay on board with Him to begin with.
“..NEGATIVE WORDS SPOKEN TO YOU FROM THE MOUTH OF THE UNGODLY..CAN NEVER BE MORE POWERFUL THAN THE WORD SPOKEN TO YOU FROM THE MOUTH OF GOD HIMSELF”
And if by chance you happen to have wondered away from His presence, can you run to God by faith through prayer after receiving the blessing in this post? And when you receive your miracle..depend on God all the way!
” AFTER RECEIVING THE MIRACLE, THEN I DEPEND ON GOD ALL THE WAY”
– Face your challenge with hope. – Face your challenge with trust – Face your challenge with strength – Face your challenge by Faith – Face your challenge fearlessly – Face your challenge with Optimism – Face your challenge with grateful heart. Face your challenge with God’s viewing points..because He ALREADY HAS A GREAT VIEW OF WHAT IS AHEAD OF YOU. “My hope trust in God, for I shall yet praise Him.”
If you want to receive something in life then always go by the principle of giving. This is one of the most powerful and true principles of right living that any person can apply. Three years ago, I received a job with a nonprofitable organization and it required me to leave my home-country and move to a totally new country for me. Though I viewed this as one of my dreams and prayers having finally come to fulfillment, on the other hand I was a bit reluctant to accept it. I knew that by accepting this job offer I was going to abandon everything that I had in possession including all the assets I had accumulated. Actually, my accepting this overseas job meant, abandoning everything and moving to a new place and starting afresh. Starting all over again! Abandoning my friends, my house, my assets, all investment and leaving my neighborhood which I had grown so familiar with. Be it a material need or emotional need, the principle of giving, once applied will always work! It will prove to be true regardless of status, race, tribe, ethnicity, gender or religion! Personally, I believe in this principle since God Is also a Giver. God so loved the world( that is you and me) that He gave His Only Begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. Giving away my all was a very hard and painful decision for me, but today I’m glad I made that decision because now more than ever, my eyes of understanding have received tremendous enlightenment and my Faith in God’s WORD has grown.Why I’m saying it was a hard decision for me, is because relocating to another country and another continent required a huge sum of money of which I was short of then. On one hand I didn’t want to lose my golden opportunity to better my life while on the other hand I was reluctant to leave my country and my people.But all in all I made up my mind and I finally sent my answer to my new employer and we set the travel date to exactly 6DAYS from the day I agreed to go. The following day I woke up quite early since I knew I needed to start my preparations and packing up my household items and see how I’d move them to a close relative so he may store them for me. One thing led to another and then just a day to my travel date I had still not finished packing my things! Pressure and panic begun to mount on the inside of me and I decided to make some calls to seek help . First to my greatest disappointment, I amidst shock learnt that the relative I was hoping to take my things had an emergency journey to far place and he explained he just couldn’t help much. I managed to call couple of friends who inevitably refused to help with reasons only known to them. I felt so betrayed because here I was thinking everyone was going to be exited about my new job and help me in every way, but that was the time I knew that there are “some roads” in this life I just have to walk through them alone and by myself. I was so discouraged that I decided to lock myself in my house, shut all my electronic gudgets and just talk to God about it and hear what He had to say.I prayed reading my bible for some minutes then I decided to continue packing what I could manage because I was beginning to feel sleepy. After doing a few boxes I threw in the towel and went to bed telling myself what will be will be. The following morning as expected I woke up early and when I was coming from the bathroom after taking my shower, I had a knock on my door. I wondered who that person would be because visitors were the last thing I needed that morning. I quickly dressed up and proceeded to open the door. To my greatest surprise, I saw my landlord standing outside. After exchanging greetings, he went on to inform me that he had received a tipoff that I was moving out and he was surprised why I never informed the office. I explained my reasons knowing I was leaving 2months house deposit with the housing agency office and because the job offer had come at a short notice, I forgot to inform him. He seemed not be upset and explained that he had a suggestion that made him come over that early. He further asked me if I was willing to sell my household items to him an idea which I immediately refuted! Seeing I was not interested, he politely asked if I had any of my old clothes to give his daughter who was almost my body size. That’s when I remembered the promise I made to his daughter some years back when he came to welcome me as his new tenant with his entire family. His daughter was the one who prepared some fresh juice on my behalf and I was so happy with her character that I told her I’d give her some of my old yet in good condition clothes and shoes. A promise which I had forgotten to fulfill. I hurriedly started looking for few clothes to give him and suddenly a voice whispered in my spirit. “When was the last time you gave to the needy?”I knew this was The Holy Spirit prompting me to give cheerfully. I managed to find almost a dozen clothes of which he was very grateful and left hurriedly. I sat down and began asking myself some questions. Where was I taking all these things? It is too late to get someone to buy any of these things now. Besides, I remembered that my employer had informed me I’d be living in a fully furnished company house. Why don’t I just give away everything then call my new boss , tell him what I had done and hear what he’d have to say! That’s exactly what I did! I hurriedly called my pastor and explained to him that I had some assets, some household items as well as used clothes and shoes, bags full of house items and I wanted them to be delivered to the church for the less fortunate. I also told my pastor that my business should be handed over to the church and if possible to find any hardworking and responsible youths in the church who were unemployed to be assigned to handle it. Initially I had earlier instructed my shareholding company to channel all my shares dividends into my parents joint accounts of which was done without delay!. My pastor after praying with me, he sent some few brethren who came to collect all I was willing to give and after they left, I felt somehow relieved and peaceful. My boss on the other hand texted me asking me not to delay as I was the one he was waiting for. My decision did not seem to affect him instead he was more pleased upon learning what I did. After finishing everything I proceeded to the airport at around, 6pm that evening. I had more than enough time on my side but I just wanted to be early for check in. My hour finally arrived and I boarded safely. The flight was peaceful and uneventful all through. The minute I landed at the airport, that’s when I knew if you want to receive something in life then always go by the principle of giving. My boss had not only sent a driver to pick me but, I was received by a brand new red Mercedes car! A new Mercedes which few minutes later I was informed it now belonged to me! As if this was not enough, when I arrived at my new house, everything was fully furnished! I was so much surprised. I asked the driver why I was never informed about all these surprises early enough and the driver simply said that my boss was still checking whether I was the right person for the job and the minute he heard me tell him I had given away all my household items to the less fortunate, he announced to the whole organization that I was definitely the right employee he was looking for, a cheerful giver! In my spirit I knew the Word of God is living! Give and it shall be given unto you good measure,pressed down, shaken together and running over will be added to your bossom. The giving here is not just categorically on monetary terms. It can be giving a smile , giving material things, giving forgiveness, showing acts of mercy, etc. As I speak about it today, The Holy Spirit of has never stopped reminding me the words of Jesus, ” if you remain in Me and my words remain in you, you will be able to ask anything you want as you pray biblically and it will happen. I have realised that this principle requires one to have Faith as well. Give expecting to receive! That is what is meant by givingcheerfully, rather than giving in a boastfulheart! A cheerful heart will give in wholesome, out of obedience and in love whereas a boastful heart will tend to pay attention to self always! Truth be told it is not because of my sacrifices, God Is Who He says He Is, faithful God. His Word is True! Today as I share this, I have received wonderful designer clothes I never expected. For me I knew that I was going to work and buy myself new clothes! I have received a car of my dreams which to this day I’m still in awe of this miracle! The kind of shelter which God has given me through the hands of my new employer, has made me fall in Love with My Jesus all over again! I give God all the glory!
