WHAT LIFE LESSONS DO YOU LEARN FROM THIS BIBLE INCIDENT?

“Now King David was old, advanced in years; and they put covers on him, but he could not get warm…

Then Adonijah the son of Haggith exalted himself, saying, “I will be king”; and he prepared for himself chariots and horsemen, and fifty men to run before him.

(And his father had not rebuked him at any time by saying, “Why have you done so?” He was also very good-looking. His mother had borne him after Absalom.)

Then he conferred with Joab the son of Zeruiah and with Abiathar the priest, and they followed and helped Adonijah.

But Zadok the priest, Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, Nathan the prophet, Shimei, Rei, and the mighty men who belonged to David were not with Adonijah.

And Adonijah sacrificed sheep and oxen and fattened cattle by the stone of Zoheleth, which is by En Rogel; he also invited all his brothers, the king’s sons, and all the men of Judah, the king’s servants.

But he did not invite Nathan the prophet, Benaiah, the mighty men, or Solomon his brother.
So Nathan spoke to Bathsheba the mother of Solomon, saying, “Have you not heard that Adonijah the son of Haggith has become king, and David our lord does not know it?
Come, please, let me now give you advice, that you may save your own life and the life of your son Solomon..

Go immediately to King David and say to him, ‘Did you not, my lord, O king, swear to your maidservant, saying, “Assuredly your son Solomon shall reign after me, and he shall sit on my throne“? Why then has Adonijah become king?’

Then, while you are still talking there with the king, I also will come in after you and confirm your words.”
So Bathsheba went into the chamber to the king. (Now the king was very old, and Abishag the Shunammite was serving the king.)..

And just then, while she was still talking with the king, Nathan the prophet also came in…

Then King David answered and said, “Call Bathsheba to me.” So she came into the king’s presence and stood before the king.

And the king took an oath and said, “As the LORD lives, who has redeemed my life from every distress, just as I swore to you by the LORD God of Israel, saying, ‘Assuredly Solomon your son shall be king after me, and he shall sit on my throne in my place,’ so I certainly will do this day.”…

Now Adonijah was afraid of Solomon; so he arose, and went and took hold of the horns of the altar.

And it was told Solomon, saying, “Indeed Adonijah is afraid of King Solomon; for look, he has taken hold of the horns of the altar, saying, ‘Let King Solomon swear to me today that he will not put his servant to death with the sword.’ ”

Then Solomon said, “If he proves himself a worthy man, not one hair of him shall fall to the earth; but if wickedness is found in him, he shall die.”

So King Solomon sent them to bring him down from the altar. And he came and fell down before King Solomon; and Solomon said to him, “Go to your house.”


Good Advice: Finding True Satisfaction In Life.

GOOD ADVICE: How to find Satisfaction in life.

✨You were not called to be a perfect christian.

✨ Trying to impress God by your human performances and your mere works of perfectionism will only prevent you from finding Him.

✨ Learn to always be sincere before God Who IS the true source of all things (including things like satisfaction and favour, and blessings.

✨ Find the satisfaction of life that you need by finding your life in Jesus Christ Son of God.

✨God is readily found by all who will seek Him.

✨ Despite of everything that you have, all the riches and wealth in your possession, your education and even all the numerous skills you have acquired, today choose to live your entire life and every “thing” in you wholly and humbly surrendered unto God.

1. Today Good Advice calls that you rather seek God, pursue God and His full knowledge and pursue holiness by receiving Christ as your Lord and Savior Who  Is the Way, the Truth and the Life thus opening your life to the true Source of satisfaction in life.

2. The greatest life satisfaction is experienced by them who have a zeal to live a life of true worship.

3. It doesn’t matter whether you “accidentally” miss a step as you pursue God, the loving truth is that you have been accepted by God in the beloved life of Jesus.

4. Today’s Good Advice; find true satisfaction of life through the cross of Jesus Christ where every pain of life was crucified and as children of God, we also know that it is at the Cross of Jesus Christ where God’s glorious power is revealed in Joy which is the true satisfaction of life.

5. Good Advice calls you to be aware that God has already been to the dream place where you are passionately yearn to go, so though your dreams are valid, they are not new to God. Choose to partner with God through The Holy Spirit and He shall bring your destiny to pass and in the process you’ll enjoy the full satisfaction of life that you crave for.

JESUS CANNOT BE BOUGHT FROM ANTIQUE STORES!!

Christ the Power and Wisdom of God.

“In understanding the knowledge of God there are hidden treasures of wisdom and knowledge!”

Are you one of those people who view Jesus as some divine luggage for display?

Are you one of those who buy pictures of jesus for your interior decor designs or even put him as your house wall hangings?

Did you buy your jesus from the antique store?

Are you one of those people who hang a portion of jesus in your car’s rear view mirror to act as a good charm angel for you while you’re driving?

If you are one of those people who bought your jesus from the antique store and you have him on your wall decor, you put him as your house hangings and your have a display of him in your counter stores, find it in your faith and remove Jesus from those counters.

Remove Jesus from your counters. Reject every false deities and all dead gods in your life.

False knowledge of the True Living God planges you into sinful association and leads your life to the wrong eternity. We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.

Don’t be mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God is pride and God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.

HERE’S THE LIVING TRUTH

Jesus Christ Is not some divine statue or divine luggage.

Jesus Christ Is not an old ancient and historical item perceived of beneficial monetary value.

Jesus Christ Is not a vintage collection item for artistic talent display.

Jesus Christ Is not believed to have only existed during a limited time era, or previous decades of generations of millions of times gone.

If you truly want to know the True God preach the gospel, not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of no effect.

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. Preach Jesus as the Christ, Son of God, Lord of all.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
